Trading with us
Our traders operate with meaningful static drawdowns, institutional tooling & execution, value-added oversight, and a high share of P&L. The Desk is built for serious practitioners who treat trading as a long-term profession.
Risk & Capital Structure
We size each trader’s risk in a way that reflects the real behavior of their strategy—its variance, drawdown profile, and liquidity footprint—not arbitrary limits. Risk capacity expands as you demonstrate risk-adjusted performance.
- Clear daily loss boundaries calibrated to your strategy
- A stable risk base to operate from that does not trail.
- Structured scaling as you demonstrate edge.
Economics & Support
Traders on the Desk participate meaningfully in their own P&L while operating within a professional environment designed to sustain long careers in the markets.
- Optional monthly draw paid.
- 80% profit split to the trader.
- Daily, uncapped withdrawals on realized P&L.
- Institutional rates and execution quality.
- Earn K-1 tax treatment and ongoing mentorship, coaching, and risk support.
Paths to the Desk
We maintain multiple hiring channels into Apteros to both attract existing talent, as well as discover emerging talent. All three paths lead to the same Desk structure.
Established Track Record
Experienced traders with an established track record may join via traditional review and interview. We assess risk-adjusted returns, drawdown behavior, strategy design, and alignment with our risk and culture principles.
Trader Evaluation Program
An open and accessible path to the Desk. Candidates demonstrate their edge under defined parameters in a live-sim environment. We evaluate. Qualified performance converts directly to Live Desk risk capital.
Apteros Fellowship
Our quarterly 12-week Fellowship Program trains traders from first principles in process, risk, mental frameworks, orderflow, and market structure. Half the cohort is scholarship-based. Graduates who demonstrate aptitude may be invited directly onto the Desk.
